My latest work, Lost Threads, premiered in EinTanzHaus on November 15th. We were thrilled to have a successful week-end with two wonderful performances. The work is performed by Cecilia Ponteprimo and Julia Headley with a wonderful composition by Kasia Kadłubowska and dramaturgy by Carmen Kovacs. We are a team of powerful women bringing strength and sensitivity to our work and supporting each other and it is a wonderful feeling!
Further shows of Lost Threads are in planning both in EinTanzHaus in Mannheim and in Tilburg in the Netherlands. As soon as the information is available, I will post here!
As winter is approaching, I am getting ready for my next creating in Vancouver where I will spend 2 weeks with the Arts Umbrella Senior Dance Company to create a short work. I am thrilled to be working with students from my school and to get the chance to work further on my current research looking at the ballet through groove.
The spring brings a residency in Biella, Italy with a wonderful project initiated by Mireille Solomon. More information on the project’s website: http://access-all-areas.eu/
My work with the Junior Dance Company in EinTanzHaus along with Jonas Frey continues with a premiere in July! If you are a teenager between the ages of 13 and 20 living in and around Mannheim, please contact me!
